Plastic ice cream cone lamp

You wouldn't think it from the picture, but this plastic ice cream cone lamp from fredflare.com is actually more than two feet tall!

Doesn't that seem, you know, unnecessarily large? I usually think of ice cream as being immune from the "too much of a good thing" adage (how can there ever be too much ice cream, right?), but this jumbo lamp is certainly making me reconsider how I pass out those immunity necklaces.

Maybe it's just my fondness of miniatures that makes me think how much cuter the lamp would be if it were, say, five or six inches tall instead. I wouldn't mind a string of Christmas lights or a small nightlight either. I don't know. Maybe I just can't imagine paying $48 for a novelty lamp that would be almost as tall as my two-year-old niece.
