Ice cream baby doll top

Ice_cream_baby_dollIt's nice to see that not everyone thinks of scoops and cones when designing ice cream merchandise. There's nothing wrong with a classic vanilla cone, of course, but if you ran a site about ice cream, you'd be pretty happy to come across LittleHeaven's ice cream baby doll ($16.95) too.

What do you think the story is here? It's hard to tell from the image, but if I had to take a guess, I'd say that the chocolate-sicle is appalled by the prank that the pleased-with-herself strawberry-sicle wants to pull on the sleeping ice cream sandwich. Either that or Mr. Chocolate is shocked by the long string that just came out of the bite mark on Ms. Strawberry's head, all the while oblivious to the burst of spots that just flew out of his own.

Available in various colors and styles.

Ice cream skull and crossbones V-neck shirt

Ice_cream_skull_shirtLove ice cream but hate how cute and girly all the merchandise is?

Then cast those scornful eyes upon the uninspiringly named ice cream t-shirt, which sports a presumably unlicensed skull-and-crossbones image belonging to Pharrell Williams (of Ice Cream and Billionaire Boys Club fame). The wicked ice cream cone looks decidely pirate-like with missing teeth and crooked cherry eyes, which under the circumstances is pretty fitting for the "creator" of this shirt.

If the V-neck shown here isn't something you'd wear (and you're willing to risk an unpleasant run-in with Pharrell's lawyers), the design can be applied to other t-shirt styles with prices starting at about $25.

Ice cream baby bib

Ice_cream_bib_pgHey now, why didn't I know about what appears to have been a sale on this pink ice cream cotton fabric? It's being used here with the Big Baby Bib ($14), which features a pearl-like snap closure and wide pocket, and can also be seen wrapped around women wiping their hands on the vintage-inspired hostess apron.

Hmm. Mommy wearing ice cream apron while holding Baby wearing ice cream bib is a little too Stepford family, don't you think? Zoom out on that image and you're sure to find the same fabric being used on the kitchen curtains, tablecloth, and dish towels.

Ice cream vintage-inspired hostess apron

Ice_cream_apronIt comes more naturally to me to wipe my hands on a dish towel or paper napkin than on myself, so I've never been drawn to aprons. Sure, the fact that I don't cook or bake could also have something to do with my apron-less kitchen wardrobe, but let's not bore ourselves with minor details.

Instead, I'd like to direct your attention to chic to chic's SCOOP hostess apron ($42). The 19.5" long apron is dripping with ice cream cones of all sizes, trimmed with polka-dotted fabric, and accented with red pom poms. It almost makes me want to take a class from June Cleaver. Almost.

Powered by ice cream T-shirt

Icecream_powered_shirtEven though the design on this ice cream ringer tee ($21) would be better if an electrical plug or circuit was involved, it's still an eye-catching way to let others know what to serve for dessert if they decide to invite you over for dinner.

And if you don't have any ice cream in your freezer, it's also a great way to get out of doing chores around the house. When your husband comes home and sees you napping on the couch in a disheveled living room, just point to your shirt (assuming you have enough strength to do so, of course) and let out a weak cough. Your hubby will have no choice but to either go out for some Butter Pecan or tidy up. It's a win-win!

Jumping Beans ice cream cone top for girls

Icecream_kids_kohlsHere's a cute cotton shirt by Jumping Beans for any lactose-tolerant little girl who loves ice cream.

Playing back-up to the vanilla cone topped with colorful sprinkles taking center stage on the blue shirt are variously sized stars, a ladybug with lilac wings, and the words "yummy" and "cute" (close-up of design below).

Even someone who doesn't like any of that (and wears a size 5, 6, or 6X) could still find the graphic tee in her closet because the $6 sale price at Kohl's is too tempting to pass up.
