Sweet Swirls ice cream lip gloss keychains

Sweet_swirls_lip_glossIf lip balm packed into a miniature pint of ice cream didn't pique your interest, then maybe you'd like flavored lip gloss scooped into a plastic ice cream cone instead.

Each Sweet Swirls gloss doubles as a keychain and sells for only a dollar at MyJewelThief.com (what a steal!). You don't get a choice of flavor when you order, so the only surefire way to get all six flavors (cherry, blueberry, strawberry, apple, orange, grape) is to order a box of 24. As an added incentive for buying so many, MyJewelThief will throw in the paper display for free. And I thought they were supposed to be the thieves.

Scented ice cream bar soap

Ice_cream_bar_soap_abfI don't think potty-mouthed children are made to sit in the bathroom with a bar of soap between their teeth anymore, but if they were, wouldn't it be incredibly cruel to use one of these pastel Ice Cream Bar Soaps instead?

The kids would think they lucked out with parents who reward foul language with ice cream! And they'd keep thinking that, even as the goat's milk soap was brought to their mouth, because each bar is infused with fragrance oils like Sweet Vanilla Sugar, Juicy Orange, Chocolate Mint, and Berry Love. $6.50 apiece.

Ice cream candle and soap silicone molds

Ice_cream_silicone_mold_umI don't want to be the Destroyer of Magic or official Bubble Burster, but since I already stepped into the role when I crushed the faith of those who believed that a silicone mold wasn't involved in the making of Hostess cupcake candles and soaps, I may as well embrace what I've become and turn the spotlight on Unlimited Molds' nice selection of ice cream silicone molds.

From single scoops ($17.95) and ice cream sandwiches ($16.25) to the makings of a banana split ($35.99) and the single serving of soft-serve ($9.95) shown here, the roots of everything we've seen as amazingly realistic-looking ice cream soaps and candles can probably be traced to a silicone mold.

It is a sad, sad day.

Ice cream lip balm set

Ice_cream_lip_balmIsn't it amazing how effective packaging can be?

Look at this set of lip balm (one more photo below). I'm sure that flavored ChapStick works just as well, but being packed inside twistable tubes that look like miniature pints and sporting ice creamy names like mint chocolate chip and chocolate fudge brownie certainly makes the lip balm party pack (£8) more appealing.

The lips balms are also sold separately and in different flavors at Cosmetics Fairy and through Lotta Luv's Ice Cream Shoppe line (commonly found on eBay).

Bucket of ice cream bath fizzies

Ice_cream_fizzies_mbA nice silver bowl would've carried the ice cream reference a bit further, but a galvanized bucket is much better for holding up to a dozen scoops of these ice cream bath fizzies from Me! Bath. Individually wrapped and available in a bucket of five or twelve, each effervescing scoop transforms a tub of ordinary bathwater into a "tantalizing ice cream soda treatment" with mineral sea salts, fragrance oils, and other ingredients.

If you're tempted by fizzing flavors like Gotta Have It Pomegranate, Tantalizing Tuberose, and Land of Milk & Honey, make sure your pockets are deep. $94 for a dozen scoops sure isn't a drop in the bucket!

Calvin Klein ice cream bath fizzies

Ice_cream_fizzy_ckOur tub isn't big enough for relaxing soaks, so I've never had much of an interest in bath fizzies (or bath bombs, as they're sometimes wretchedly called).

However, this charming set of four ice cream cone fizzies from none other than Calvin Klein has me reconsidering how much space I really need to be comfortable. I mean, is the ability to fully extend one's legs actually required to be enveloped in blueberry, lime, strawberry, and lemon effervescence? I don't think so either.

The 3.5" fizzies are available for $12 from Amazon.

Ice cream glycerin soap

Icecream_soap_kellYou wouldn't know it from looking at them, but those luscious scoops of chocolate and strawberry ice cream you see on the right are actually 3.5-ounce vegan glycerin soaps. Their likeness to the real thing is absolutely uncanny! Both are sold as a $6 set through kellarama's Etsy shop.

Shower with mint chocolate chip ice cream

Philosophy_mcc_icecreamPhilosophy is one of very few brands that carry an extensive line of dessert-themed bath and body products. I love them for it, of course, and have amassed a respectable collection of the company's multi-purpose items over the years.

All of the 3-in-1 bath products I have (including chocolate and strawberry ice cream) combine a shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, so the currently unavailable mint chocolate chip ice cream's addition of bubble bath in place of conditioner is news to me. Though I never really liked the shampoo-conditioner combination anyway (reminds me of Pert Plus), I think unwinding in a tub of bubbles created by the same liquid used to wash your hair and clean your body is pretty weird.
