Pink ice cream belly button ring

Ice_cream_belly_ringHow you can love ice cream to the extent that you're visiting Ice Cream Bites yet still have a nice enough stomach to show off a belly button ring is a secret you could make millions from.

But before you reveal the exact blend of flavors, whipped cream, and hot fudge needed to turbo-charge your metabolism, you should probably start hanging Body Candy's pink jeweled ice cream cone navel ring from your belly button first. That way when people spot the piece of surgical-grade stainless steel jewelry laying flat against your even flatter tummy, you'll have a product to peddle when they ask how someone so fit could like a frozen dessert so much that a shiny representation of it was deemed a necessary accessory.

Consumers are fond of company presidents who are also company customers (just look at that hair club for men), so the cost of the $12 belly ring would be covered by your metabolism-secret book/pill/lotion/whatever in no time.

14K gold ice cream sundae charm

Sundae_charm_paIf it weren't for the cherry and yellow gold, this ice cream sundae charm from Precious Accents is probably something I wouldn't mind getting as a gift. I wouldn't buy it for myself (aforementioned dislike of cherries and yellow gold), but if someone bought and wrapped it up for me, I'd call it a cute and thoughtful surprise.

Please don't buy it for me, though, okay? I appreciate the thought, to be sure, but I'd feel obligated to wear it every time I saw you. I'd also wonder why you chose to get it when I just got done saying how much I don't like yellow gold (14K or not) and cherries.

So then there I'd be: forced to wear a 0.87" x 0.43" gold charm on a gold chain that I'd have to go out and buy if it wasn't included in the box while secretly wondering whether the sundae was actually meant as a spiteful non-gift (similar to the unvitation or non-vite made popular by Seinfeld).

Don't misinterpret this as a hint okay, but the ice cream sundae charm is available for $273 from Amazon.

Ice cream sandwich charm

Ice_cream_sandwich_pendant_oeI haven't made up my mind yet about whether a matching earring and necklace set is appropriate for anywhere other than weddings and formal events.

A part of me thinks that the only way it wouldn't be overkill to pair this ice cream sandwich charm ($6) with the coordinating ice cream sandwich earrings is if I got a job at an ice cream parlor, while another part of me thinks I might look at another woman wearing the set and maybe want to be her friend. Anyone who'd adorn her ears and neck with mini ice cream sandwiches made of polymer clay has to be kind of fun, right?

Diamond ice cream pendant

Diamond_ice_cream_pendantIf you've seen the Tiffany cupcake charm and the diamond doughnut earrings on Ice Cream Bites' sister sites recently, then you're probably thinking it's about time that the beloved ice cream cone got bedecked in jewels.

You're right. Meet the 14K Yellow Gold Diamond Ice Cream Pendant, a 0.75" sparkling addition to Amazon.com's "Jewels of Food" diamond jewelry collection. The pendant hangs from an 18" (silver?) chain and features 12 prong-set round diamonds totaling 0.1 carats and polished yellow gold.

The diamonds are of only mediocre quality (H color, I1 clarity), but the pendant comes packaged in a "regal blue sueded-cloth box" and is on sale for only $190 (marked down from $330). It seems expensive when compared to, say, a $10 silver ice cream charm, but would you really want a diamond pendant that only cost $10? "You get what you pay for" is a saying for a reason.

Sterling silver ice cream cone charm

Enamel_ice_cream_charm_gjSince it's never too early to learn how to accessorize, the little girl who has a Jumping Beans ice cream shirt hanging in her closet is the perfect candidate for this $10 sterling silver ice cream cone charm from Goldfinger Jewelry.

Accented with white and blue enamel and colorful crystals set into white stars, the double-scoop cone measures 0.87" high and 0.35" across and would look quite darling dangling from a silver chain and maybe even a white lanyard or cord. Just don't blame me when your daughter asks for a complete Hannah Montana bedroom makeover to go with the nightgown you just got her.

Ice cream sandwich earrings

Ice_cream_sandwich_earringsYes, as a matter of fact these ice cream sandwich earrings are in the running for the World's Cutest Earrings Ever title.

I'd ask how you managed to sneak a peek at the list of nominees for an awards ceremony I just made up, but one look at these adorable polymer clay hook earrings makes the answer quite obvious. I mean, how could they not be one of the front-runners? Look at them. Vanilla ice cream sandwiched between chocolate cookies, "double glazed with a satin finish for durability," dangling beneath clear glass beads? No contest!

A pair sells for $9 at OneElf's Etsy shop.

Scented triple-scoop ice cream cone charm

Neopolitan_icecream_charm_pmSo what's better than a deliciously scented ice cream bowl charm from Pancake Meow? Why, a triple-scoop Neapolitan ice cream cone one, of course!

The tiny creation eliminates the stress of decision-making and piles all three of those classic flavors onto a hand-painted waffle cone: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. No prizes given for guessing which scent has been infused into each scoop!

The charm can be preordered now (no price given) with delivery expected in early May.

Scented ice cream bowl charms

Icecream_charms_pm

Just in case these ice cream charms aren't cute enough with their green, pink, and white ceramic bowls and tiny silver spoons, miniature-dessert artist extraordinaire Leslie of Pancake Meow has made them scented! So not only will your handmade clay scoop look like strawberry, vanilla brownie, chocolate chip, vanilla chocolate cherry, and mint chocolate chip, it'll even smell like it.

Is $32 a bowl a fair price to see if it tastes like it too?
