Miniature ice cream parfait ballpoint pen

Parfait_pen_ccMagnetic ice cream pens are great for adding items to the running grocery list you keep on the fridge, but they're no help with the to-do list on your desk. No, what you need there is a freestanding ice cream pen like this mint chocolate chip and strawberry parfait ballpoint pen.

It stands just 3.3" tall, so not only would it look great next to a mini notebook but it'd be easy enough to hide when your colleagues drop by looking for a pen as well. Sure, the mini parfait's black ink is suitable for signing important documents, but unless your office is located in the back of an ice cream parlor, something a little more professional would probably be more appropriate for the office.

Available from Straya World for about $4.

Magnetic ice cream cone pens

Ice_cream_pens_ffA trio of 5" chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream cone pens is great on its own, to be sure, but putting a magnet on the back of each one so that the pens can stick to the filing cabinet or refrigerator is genius. Pure genius.

Who knew ice cream cones were so skilled at multi-tasking? They can jot down a note, hold the note on the fridge in the lunchroom, and tell everyone that your obsession with ice cream has gotten so bad that you went ahead and spent $14 on a set of magnetic ice cream pens. Get a preview of the pens in action below.

Ice cream sundae magnet

Ice_cream_sundae_magnet_llThe magnets on our freezer door are becoming so unmanageable that my husband and I have begun to use them to create pictures. In fact, I just finished a space invaders creation using a bunch of Lego magnets for the space ship and these really cute Marvel baby superhero magnets as the aliens.

Even though the freezer is definitely running out of real estate, don't you think the story behind my latest creation would be a lot more dramatic if the space ship was protecting the inhabitants of this 1.75" x 3.25" ice cream sundae magnet tower? And when you think about it, $10 (price including shipping) is a small price to pay for a die-cut magnet whose "glass-like finish" makes the sundae "positively sparkle." Then again, it would have to, really. I mean, why else would the aliens want to invade it?

Smiling ice cream cones journal

Icecream_journal_slHere's a cute alternative to the boring marble composition books I use for brainstorming, taking notes, and making lists.

It's the Happy Ice Creams Journal featuring Marilyn Patrizio's smiling soft-serve cones design printed on hard board and covered in clear plastic. The 5" x 7" spiral-bound journal has 100 blank sheets and sells for $14 at Shana Logic. The pages aren't lined, so the book would also work well as a sketch pad.

Ice cream erasers encourage perfection

Icecream_erasersIf the little ice cream cone and chocolate-covered ice cream bar that are part of the Dessert Erasers set at Fred Flare were sitting on my desk, my productivity would certainly suffer. I'd probably spend half of my day simply admiring the rubbery treats, and the other half triple-checking my work for errors. Because carelessness is the silliest reason to defile an impeccable creation.

The (eraser?) tray measures 3.75" x 2.5" and is included with the $12 set.
